Winter’s cooler temperatures create a great time to get your favorite warm beverage, a cozy blanket, a great book and take a break! Come to the Friends of the West Florida Public Library’s Winter Book Sale to add to your TBR Pile (To Be Read) so you will be ready to read!
Maybe you want a new cookbook book to inspire some exploration in the kitchen to create a warm soup or to bake your own bread!
Maybe you want to learn about the life of a famous person or you prefer to try to figure out “who done it” before the book’s main character does. Or, maybe you want a beautiful coffee table book for your coffee table – or maybe you want to learn how to build a coffee table!
The options are endless. Books will be sorted by genre to make it easier to find your favorites!
If you have children, our bookstores and book sales are a great way to let them pick out a few books to explore and own! We even have some board books for the youngest “readers” in your family, so they can “read” their books while you read yours!
The sale will be held at the downtown library, located at 239 N. Spring Street. Debit & Credit Cards accepted. As always, your contributions will support library programs and services.

Jan 24th – Sale Opens at 3:00 PM, closes at 7:00 PM,
Friday’s admission is Free for Friends’ Members, $5.00 for all other shoppers
Jan 25th – 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, FREE Admission
Jan 26th – 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM -$7.00 for a bag filled with books!
Then volunteers clean up and pack up.
Feb 10th – Board meeting
March 10th – Board meeting
April 14th – Board meeting
SPRING BIG BOOK SALE!
